This jewelry is adapted from a belt buckle, a functional decoration that enjoyed popularity during the Art Nouveau period (1890-1914) for its ability to showcase the flowing lines and nature-inspired subjects of the style. It also added instant flair to any womans wardrobe.
Proceeds from the sale of this product support the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
